Liane and I went to watch the Winkler Elementary School's performance of "Oliver!" last night. It was really well done! Dusty played the part of Oliver's grandpa, Mr. Bromwell, I think, and he was also one of the pick-pockets.

Strawberry glaze and ice cream makes up 45% of my diet.

Hey, did I mention I bought a suit for the big day? Yup, Liane and I went to wpg before the retreat on friday, to look for a few things, and I ended up finding a suit that I like. At every place we went I whipped out the picture of Napoleon Dynamite in his killer brown tux, but everyone gave me the same answer "impossible to get". So I settled for a suit that is not black. Black is for funerals. And grad. Which is almost the same thing.

So the planning is coming along quite nicely otherwise...we've got the invitations designed...just need to take a picture, and get 'em printed. If you would like an invitation, with no purchase necessary, complete the following skill testing question, and send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Tomorrow we're (from now on if I refer to "we", it's safe to assume that I'm talking about Liane and myself) going to see Dustin perform in the school's production of "Oliver!". Should be good...I hear he's got a leading role or something. And apparently after it's all over he's gonna get a haircut. I'll have to see that to believe it :)

Anywhoos, I should go. Gonna get up early tomorrow and go for breakfast with dad and Uncle Harv. And hopefully I can get to work a little early too, and get caught up on a few bikes. I'm not as far behind right now, but it's still pretty busy.

FEBC FAMILY RETREAT PICTURES

Howdy! Well it took almost four hours straight to edit these all, and I've got a sore butt to prove it! I really need to get a better computer chair :) It was a wonderful weekend...relaxing, fun, encouraging, and just a sweet opportunity to spend some time in God's great creation, and with His wonderful people. What a weekend! We had a church family retreat for the first time in almost ten years! We were at Camp Arnes...what a beatuiful place! The accomodations were so sweet it really didn't feel a whole lot like camping! My face is severely roasted...a combination of being outside for the majority of the day, and being in the highly-clorinated-but-really-nice pool for the rest of the time. We did a lot of swimming. Or should I say a lot of splashing and fooling around :)
