Random ramblings from a guy who's enjoying the ride...my thoughts on what God's been teaching me lately...who know what might all show up here...I guess it's a place for me to keep a slightly more public version of my daily journaling. Don't Drink and Drive

Okay, it's 12:02, and I should really be sleeping, but this was way to funny not to share, and I know I'll forget if I leave it 'til the morning.

So I went to pick up a few groceries, and Liane came with me. We're going down isle 4 when I just barely clipped a lady's cart with mine. I hardly touched it, and it didn't even move, but being a bit of a joker, I made a big scene and said "oh man, I am SOOOOO sorry!". She laughed and said "it's ok, it's not my cart!". Then this old lady pushing her cart towards me says something like "no drivers license, eh?" Something about it had to have been pretty funny, 'cause Liane and burst out laughing as we continued down the isle. Maybe it was 'cause I always bug her about being a lousy driver. It's much safer when I drive. She has an especially difficult time with driveways ;)

Ok, so that's my story.

Mmmm, bought some fresh strawberries, and boy were they ever good. We made some glaze, and my parents came over for ice cream. So we talked wedding talk. Yup, we've done a fair bit 'o planning already I must say, and as long as everybody agrees to what we would like them to do, it should be a piece 'o cake!

Hey Beth, congrats on landing a job at the Cred! I know Liane is patiently (or not so patiently ;) waiting for a phone call too! We'll see what happens.

Auto Update

That's right, from now on you can just click on the 'auto-update' button that I just installed on your desktop to get all the latest useless info from my blog! It's sure to save you tons of time and money! Okay, maybe not.

So what's new you ask? Well, it was a crazy weekend. And it left my house looking like a riot scene...without any broken glass. Let's see...it all started friday morning. She said yes! So right now, it looks like the big day is gonna be August 13. Yup, lucky 13.

So I'm beginning to realize that there's actually a fair bit of work involved in getting ready for a wedding. The procrastinator in me is starting to get a little nervous. We're talking less than four months now. And seeing as neither of us has been married before (!) we're not exactly sure how to go about it all. But that's the fun part.

We're both pretty together on the idea that we don' want a 'normal' wedding. 'Cause neither of us are normal. Gotta come up with some sweet ideas to spice it up a little.

Went to check out some tuxes today. Not impressed. Every thing is black, with the exception of a couple of white ones. What do people think this is, a funeral? And everything looks exactly the same. Oooh, this black one has three buttons and a pocket, and this one is three inches longer! WOw! Sign me up. Man, who designs this stuff? I'm kinda jealous...Liane went to the city today and apparently she bought a dress! Lucky! Just talked to her on the phone, and she sounded pretty pumped, but very tired. No kidding. Just the thought of shopping for a tux tires me out completely.

So we started working on a invitation/people-we-really-like-and-want-to-invite-to-our-wedding list. Fun stuff. Wow, I have a big family. Hopefully everyone can make it out. So yeah, now's the time to do a little schmoozing if you're hoping to be on the list ;)

Well, I had hoped to post a little more on here, but I'm wasted and need to hit the sack. We're super busy at work right now...bike season has hit with a vengeance, and I'm putting in some OT every day. I'm waaay behind on repairs, and we're selling new ones much faster than I can get them assembled. We might have a ninety five bikes assembled, but it's always the one in the warehouse that is the right size/color. Makes the day go by quickly though, and I'm lovin' it. Bikes are fun for everyone!

Ok, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite!

ok. new post coming after work tonight...I promise!

Tim saved the day by taking out a swarm of Killer Flies of Death. Then he jumped off of the top...which was pretty insane-o. Click on the picture to see the Killer Flies of Death a little better.
