Friday Night Fever
Hey folks, s'woh ti 'niog?
Tonight I had a lot of fun, yes indeed. Keith and Stacey, Liane and I were invited to Heinrich & Irene's place for supper. The supper was...well umm...the supper was great! (Just a little inside joke there...really had nothing to do with Irene's cooking :) After supper we played a little bit o' Jenga. That's a fun game. And for the record, I never made the tower fall...just call me Mr. Rocksteady Hands...must be from all the photography ;)
Tonight was also my uncle Paul's 30th birthday party. He's the youngest of my dad's 5 brothers (7 years older than myself) so we get along pretty good...we're both into the hiking-skiing-outdoorsie-kinda stuff. And he's got the cutest little girl :) So Lucky Liane got to meet my most of my dad's family. Must have been quite a shock. I was a little unsure if I should introduce her to them so early in our relationship, but I figured it's gonna take a LONG time for her to get used to them, so we'd better start early :) Just kidding! I love my family. We're just a little weird. I must say though, I was surprised that we didn't receive a whole lot of the bugging/joking that I have come to expect from them. They were pretty nice to her :) Good times. She was welcomed by Uncle Paul & Auntie Nita's dog (can't remember his name at the moment) who ate a treat out of her hand...apparently with more affection than he showed to Bruce!
Well, I should hit the sack...it's still before 11. I've had the hardest times getting up in the morning recently. Without the sun to wake up to, I just can't seem to roll myself out of bed. Every day I seem to fall a little farther behind in sleep. Oh well. The other night I had the nastiest, most realistic dream I've had in a long time. I was an English guy (from England) and a bunch of people who don't like English people (maybe French? I don't know 'cause I couldn't understand what they were saying) were chasing me down with knives and swords. They would not give up. Fortunately this wasn't one of those dreams where you can't run...I could run all right...quite quickly indeed, and I was astonished that no matter how much I outran them, they kept showing up. I ran through all these old houses trying to hide, through forests, streams, small towns, you name it. It was way to real though...I woke up with my legs and arms seriously cramped and my body just soaked in sweat. Nasty. Well, here's hopin' for better tonight! Cya,

Hey Warren interesting dream.
I've had a few of those too. Not recently, but I still remember how awful they are. I hope you sleep well.
