The Dream
Ok folks,
I apologize greatly for not posting on here very often. It's just been way to nice outside! And I've been busy. Hey, I get my new camera this morning! Yee haw!
Ok, so the dream....(gonna have to make this quick...just got back from a nice walk with Liane, and I've gotta go to work soon.)
So in my dream it was a beautiful evening and I went for a run to Morden. I ran to the other end of town and decided I couldn't possibly be in Morden without going to Warky's for ice cream. As I got to the parking lot, I looked down and discovered I was wearing nothing but my yellow chick blanket around me like a skirt, and my zippered hoody which I had open, revealing my less-than-super-hairy chest. I decided other people may not appreciate seeing me like this while they eat their ice cream, so I turned around, rather disappointed, and kicking myself for going out like this. As I ran back through Morden, all of a sudden I found my self at my bosses place, Harry and Erika. Their house was like a long hallway. I turned to look in a room on my right and saw about fifteen people watching a church service on tv. I kept going through the house, not knowing why I was there, but knowing I didn't want to stay because of my attire. I left through the garage, but just as I was about to leave the garage, the wife of one of the guys I work with, and a friend of Harry and Erika, Marge poked her head out of the door and invited me in for some food. I said I couldn't right now, and she wen tback inside. Then Harry poked his head out and asked if I wanted to come in for a beer. I asked him if he couldn't see what I was wearing, and politely declined. Then I left, and ended up hitch-hiking back to Winkler.
So that's it.
Maybe I'll post the meaning behind it all later, 'cause I figured most of it out. Yup, just call me Daniel. Speaking of Daniel, last night we had Bible classes at church, and we were cruizing! We went throught he books of Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel. Talk about interesting books! I just finished reading Lamentations, and I can't wait to get into Ezekiel and Daniel. And it's so much more exciting, and easier to understand when you get some of the history behind it. Mike is doing such an awesome job at teaching these classes. He knows this stuff inside and out...how it all fits together. It's not nearly as boring or confusing as people think!
Anywhooos, gotta go to work. Gonna test my new camera out later, and should be able to get some good pictures this weekend, with the WBC dinner theatre and everything. Hey, if you haven't booked a table or some seats for the dinner theatre yet, DO IT! It has been absolutely hilarious the last two years. Just call the camp at 325-9519 to reserve a spot for friday, saturday, or sunday night!
Bubye!

The dream is easy; seize the moment but you are afraid it is the wrong one. Too many opertunities? Choose wisely.
