Random ramblings from a guy who's enjoying the ride...my thoughts on what God's been teaching me lately...who know what might all show up here...I guess it's a place for me to keep a slightly more public version of my daily journaling. Sunday

how's that for an exciting post title? wow. must be monday morning!

so yesterday was awesome. everyone came around. josh and Jenna were out from Ontario, Jason Driedger, Rob & Jamy Suderman showed up at church, and Nat and Candice were out too. Man, it was so like old times. did Twisters for lunch for old times sake. twelve of us. and the place was packed, and then all of a sudden it was really empty. hmmm.

it was so good to get a little nostalgic, and laugh about all the stupid things we've done :) and still do :) one part that was particularly funny was when Jay and Rob came over in the afternoon for college and career. they both came in separately and both asked if I had painted inside. i said 'no, it's exactly the same as when you lived here'. neither of them believed me. kinda weird. maybe it's 'cause I actually have furniture now, and a few pictures on the walls.

so every monday morning i get a report from the site meter that keeps track of how many people read my blog. every week the number has grown, and last week there were over 400 hits! it's almost up to 4000! yikes. either there's something worth reading about my life, or you folks have nothing better to do! maybe both ;)

well, here's another little piece of info you might not hear anywhere else. liane and I are back together. we're gonna give it another shot. it was kinda funny...we've probably spent more time talking in the week since we broke up then the month that we were going out. it's a long story, but if you didn't know the details of why we broke up, you probably don't need to know how or why we're getting back together. anywhooos, you can definitely pray for us! good times :)

well, I've gotta head to work. hey...anyone know how to take a stock stereo out of a '91 Honda Accord? liane bought a sweet cd player on saturday, and we've spent literally 2 or 3 hours trying to get the old one out. boy does it suck. and last night Heinrich and I tried to get it out using a little more aggression, and we ripped the front of the radio off, and somehow it's stuck on a country station and she can't change it, or turn it down or off. just plain nasty. i'm thinking big hammer and crowbar...whaddya figure?

later :)

I am one of your 4000 groupies. Missed your dad at your great aunts funeral. The flu will do that. Hope not everyone that went bowling the other night gets it. I would recommend the crow bar, hammers are better left for tuning carbs on those old chevies.
