Random ramblings from a guy who's enjoying the ride...my thoughts on what God's been teaching me lately...who know what might all show up here...I guess it's a place for me to keep a slightly more public version of my daily journaling. Question of the Day...

Today the legal definition of marraige in Canada goes before the Supreme Court of Canada. And from what everyone is saying, it would take a miracle now to stop the definition from being changed to include gays and lesbians. But that's not what I'd like to focus on. I've been a pessimist for a long time (or a 'realist' as I like to call it ;), but I'm trying to take a decidedly more positive outlook on life. So my question is this: What kind of positive things do you see going on in society? I want to know what you guys think. Now I know that there are a lot of people who read this blog every day...I've got a site meter, so I know somebody is checking out the ramblings. All you have to do is click on the 'post a comment' button. You can even do it annonomously if you like.

OK, I'll even start it off. One thing we've still got is freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. Pretty important stuff to me, and something I know for sure we take forgranted

Yeah, I definitely agree with you Warren on the freedom of religion part! We do take it for granted, but we are very blessed to have the freedom that we do have to worship Jesus Christ in Canada! Another positive thing I see is the willingness of people (even non-Christians sometimes!) to help and give of themselves for those who are less fortunate than we are...like the homeless, or the people in all those countries who got hit by that hurricane, etc.
