Random ramblings from a guy who's enjoying the ride...my thoughts on what God's been teaching me lately...who know what might all show up here...I guess it's a place for me to keep a slightly more public version of my daily journaling. No small task

Being a parent must be a little more difficult than I somethimes think (yeah, I know what you parents are thinking..."that's an understatement!".. Especially being a parent of a newborn. I got to watch little Rowan this morning while Keith, Dad, and Dustin went to Keith's workplace for a while. Stacey was trying to sleep, 'cause she hadn't slept a whole lot during the night, so I tried to keep the little fella quiet. Right from the minute Keith left, Rowan looked like he was hungry and he wasn't going to be happy until he got what he wanted. I tried the swing for a while, tried playing with him on the floor, but the only thing that worked was carrying him until he fell asleep. He slept for over an hour, but everytime I thought he was sleeping pretty soundly and I tried to put him down, the little stinker started to wake up and fuss. So I held him the whole time. I'd imagine it could be pretty tough to get anything done when you're taking care of a little guy like that.

Good thing I don't have to worry about that yet though.

EIGHT MORE DAYS!!! YYYEEEEHHAAWWWW!
